SUNLAND, Calif. (Nov. 16, 2011) –  CRN Digital Talk Radio’s “What’s Cookin’ On Wine: Sonoma Wine Report” will formally announce the winner of  Wine Spectator Magazine’s Wine of the Year today, Nov. 16 at 6  p.m.

“Sonoma Wine Report”  is available on Comcast and Time Warner Cable in Los Angeles as well as online at www.CRNTalk.com and on affiliates across the country on Wednesdays at 6 p.m. Pacific Time.

Show host Larry Van Aalst will make the announcement of the prestigious honor live on the show which features the latest wine news and related events in the famed Sonoma Wine Country.

“This is the ‘Oscars’ of the wine industry so I’m especially honored to announce Wine Spectator Magazine’s Wine of the Year winner on our show,” Van Aalst said.
Van Aalst will be joined by William Silver, world renowned wine expert and dean of the School of Business and Economics at Sonoma State University, as well as Dan Kosta and Michael Browne, founders of Kosta Browne Winery.
